Responsive website and mobile design visual exploration for Beit Ruth, a long-term therapeutic residence and school in Israel for abused and at-risk girls, ages 13-18 years, old who have been removed from their family homes by court order as a result of physical, sexual and/or severe emotional abuse, and placed in care for a period of up to four years. As with all my summer travels I research a nonprofit to support so I will be an ongoing graphic design resource for the village working with the Communications Director. #websitedesign #infographics #timeline #colorpalette

The team traveled to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and created a self-sustaining art program at Connected in Hope in the Entoto Mountains. The CEO showed up in a Jucy van, wearing a Jucy shirt, hat and watch, carrying a Jucy water bottle, and all of the team had Jucy wraps on their laptops. So needless to say, they're BIG into the branding, and they very much enjoyed what you created."
Recent brochure design for Sutter Health Community Health Resource Center. "Kim has been an amazing asset for the non-profit I work for, CHRC. She is extremely easy to work with! She created a beautiful brochure for our organization, in addition to flyers, posters for large-scale events, business cards, etc. Kim is very talented, and was able to turn our vision for a brochure into something better than we imagined. There's a very quick turnaround time, which makes projects go very efficiently. Coming from our Executive Director, who has been with our organization nearly 10 years, Kim is the best graphic designer our organization has ever worked with. - We truly lucked out. I'd recommend her for any graphic design project." - Erica Eilenberg
Logo design for Julie Barwick, a composer, pianist and teacher. Thank you for the kind words! “I finally decided to hire a professional to design a logo for my website. In my preliminary searches, I found Kimberly Schwede and I loved the variety on her website. After her quick response to my initial questions, I just knew that I didn’t need to continue shopping around. I could tell that she was going to be a delight to work with, and I was right. She was extremely quick in designing different options for me to choose from, and the hardest part was choosing from the many lovely logos she created. Each design was simple, but very thoughtful. She easily adapted my comments and made something I loved.”
This is a great example of a before and after logo design makeover. Little Ones Welcome is a holistic practice where Western and Eastern perspectives on gestational, intrapartum and postpartum care are integrated. Jennifer Renee Chu offers Acupuncture, Placenta Medicine, Midwifery, Reiki and Birth work. Although the client was happy with the original concept she needed the logo finessed thus she came to me in search of an update. Thank you for the kind words Jennifer!
“I am very impressed with the logo and totally love it. It amazes me how quickly it went. I thought by the end of it you would hate me because of all the changes I would make, but you did a wonderful job and really understood what a logo is and balanced that with my needs and desires... Thank you!” - Jennifer Renee Chu, LAc, CD
